Outdoor Natural Surroundings and Open Space Activity

Safety Protocols for Private Park Practice

Saturday 5-2 and Sunday 5-3-20

 

Individuals may engage in any outdoor activity that is dependent upon or derives its principal benefit from natural surroundings and open space, including but not limited to hunting, fishing, trapping, boating, hiking, biking, golfing, and picnicking for the purposes of pleasure, rest, exercise, or relaxation, provided that the activity can be engaged in accordance with the Outdoor Recreation Guidelines, including maintaining at least six feet of separation between participants from different households.

Outdoor recreational activities allowed by this Executive Order 20-38 do not include performances, competitions, team events, tournaments, races, rallies, organized sports, spectator events, fairs, or any other events that involve the gathering of individuals in a manner that would preclude social distancing. We live in not normal times so I beg of you to adhere to the guidelines set forth by our Governor Tim Walz and the rules pertaining to your activity today below. If you can’t abide by the rules you will be asked to leave.

 

Safety Plan:

With utmost importance it will be imperative to enjoy the day and refrain from riding at 100 %.

Bring your own PEN,  Drive down, park in your own spot, stay with your group, Ride on your own bike, on a One mile track – 5,280 feet to spread out on and Five plus miles of Trails.

No doors to open, no carts to push, No Grocery’s to infect you, No gas station pumps, bring your own commode if possible, Safer than your very own Walmart.

Ambulance on site for you just in case and Flaggers at the more crucial spots for your safety.

 

What you need:     

Pen, Garbage bag, Non-AMA requirement, Cash only, $50 M/C ride fee, when signing up on Saturday for both days $90., Non riders $5.00, Correct Payment only.

 

Front Gate:

Upon arrival to SCP stay in your vehicle. You will be greeted by staff with face cover on, read and sign waiver on clipboard sanitized after every customer. Currency will be handled with no hand to hand contact. Gates Open at 8 AM.

 

Camping:

No Camping or overnight parking – we got shot down by the Health Department and Our Minnesota State Order.

 

Parking:

Foot traffic only; No carts, 4 Wheelers or Pit Bikes will be allowed.

Proceed to a parking spot that maintains an 8 foot space on each side of your vehicle. No congregating or mingling with other groups, social distancing will be paramount. Your parking spot is where you hang out; the only time you leave is when you go to the track, to Sign up or to Concession.

Tune into 107.9 FM for announcements. What you bring in goes home with you, (Pack it in Pack it out).

 

Sign-up:

You will receive a sign up slip at the Front gate, please fill it out before you come to register. Follow the Six feet of separation Social Distancing that will be laid out for you.

 

Concessions:

Concession/Sign-up Building won’t be open inside to the Public - Curb/Counter outside service will be the new Normal for a while.

 

Activity:

10 AM to 5 PM weather permitting, No Refunds after 10 AM. Main Track and Micro track and Five Plus miles of trails open. Swing Sets and Basketball courts are closed. No spectating is allowed currently due to Covid-19, but you can keep an eye on your rider.
